DIIA highlights humanitarian missions carried out by armed forces worldwide and identifies where the military assist local communities with emergency response to and disaster management of natural disasters including tsunamis, hurricanes, tornadoes, floods, mudslides, earthquakes, volcanic eruptions and other severe weather conditions.
DIIA’s new publication [Defense Intelligence Magazine http://www.diia.us] launched to promote the links between defense and the community views special forces, women in the military, women's rights, security agencies, homeland security, anti-terrorism operations, security of oil & gas (O&G) and other sensitive military or civilian installations and anti-drug trafficking missions at one end of the scale to educational training programmes for youngsters (such as space research, engineering, sat nav etc.) developed by NASA, the European Space Agency (ESA) and other members of the defense world.
DIIA works closely with the U.S. Navy (USN), Marine Corps, United States Air Force (USAF), U.S Southcom, Naval Investigative Service (NCIS), U.S.MSC and other U.S military forces and the United Nations (UN) to give the latest news on peace-keeping missions, medical assistance projects, security & anti-terrorist operations plus research projects.
